You order Stojanow to stay in the trees as you silently jump down. Not like you really have to be quiet with that machine gun thing going, though.

Suddenly you remember that Navaro and Lia were in the gun's line of fire. You can only hope that they're alright.

You make your way around the enemy's party. Just as you reach them, another falls, probably because of Stojanow's sharp shooting. You ready your own weapon just as you see Lia and Navaro put the diversion into motion.

The enemy party starts moving after the trail. Whether or not there's actually someone moving in the trees, you don't know, but you have a clear opportunity to take out a few more of the enemy soldiers before reinforcements arrive.

You fire off three decent shots, taking out three soldiers. The three remaining soldiers look like they're trying hard to not look afraid. Oh well, you think, and Stojanow manages to kill another.

There's a sudden roaring noise, similar to that of a hovercraft. Well, that can't be good. Looking up, you see what is indeed a hovercraft. It just so happens to be dropping off several more soldiers, and these look to be far more prepared.

What now?

Anything explosive would be nice. However, you could probably go up to the soldiers and use them as human shields.

Landmate form is currently not an option due to the trees. However, if you can find a large enough clearing, you may have enough space to shift into it.
