I would suggest finding a specific type of add-on that you are interested in, as there are tons of different kinds, and commit yourself to learning about it.

I would also suggest looking in the General Modification Help section for this

3. But since I don't really have much to do and I'm feeling kinda lazy-

You need to go check out this topic for a script editorI highly suggest Notepad++, been using it for a while.

You need to go check out this topic for a modeling program There's an alternate one called milkshape, which some people say it's easier to use, but the problem is that it costs 35 dollars. And it's got limited features compared to blender.
