From the 'pokemon side scrolling game demo' thread ~ a week back i thought about how i haven't used game maker in a long time so i decided to see what i remembered.
I have made this current test thing in about two hours or so.

Plan to add more pokemon and areas alike soon, now that i have some interwebs i should be able to download stuff i made years ago and see how i did it.
Just made a few fixes and figured out how to make things shoot well but it only works in pro edition, FUUUU.
