TWISTED METAL MULTIPLAYER DEMO IS OUT!

Vigilante 8 was part of my childhood, I only heard about Twisted Metal a year or two ago. And at that point I thought it was a ripoff of Vigilante 8. Of course, I checked the dates, I know it's the other way around now. But still...

Old games creeped me out, though. It was always either awkward silence or unfitting tunes. The limitations of gaming back then lent to a different kind of fear you simply can't create anymore. Even if you built a game like this, made it in a way which forced you to have the limitations which make it scary, it just wouldn't be the same.
My point: In Vigilante 8, I'd be driving around an almost silent landscape until a random AI vehicle hellbent on killing me suddenly appears out of nowhere and rams the forget out of me. :panda:
