I'll bet the rest of the plane is somewhere else. It would have to be an ultralight aircraft for a pile of rubble that small. edit - conan, that's not true. But fires can destroy much of the plane. I guess their could have been a fire with the real one, but I see no evidence of anything large enough to make the plane disappear. Without fire: |

I hope you realise it depends on how the plane hit. Buddy Holly's hit an an angle, almost sideways, according to witnesses, and rolled until it hit the fence. |
