The Demon Printer of Aludane

I recently got a new printer. It's amazing. It does A3 duplex print and A3 scanning with brilliant quality however I don't understand one feature.

It's printer self cleaning times. It does it randomly during the day.

One time it activated even when it was switched off and started to clean at 6:00 AM causing me to have wake up.

I always have it switched off during night.

Yet it still lives. Yet it still hungers.

It's just scheduled, no matter whether it's in standby or not. It should probably have an option for it somewhere. If not, consider moving it to another room and/or pulling out the plug completely at night.

I've considered changing the time options and it seems to have worked as of this past 3 days but it did it randomly today.

my aunt's printer had a semi-similar problem to this
whenever it was turned on, it wouldn't stop printing. not even if you shut it off. you had to unplug it every time.
