Is blockland a toy or is it like rayman?

Blockland is whatever you want it to be, and to me, its a great game. Doesn't matter of like a 'toy' or like 'Rayman'. Just play the game.

Exactly.
Though, some things shouldn't be used.

Blockland is somehow the only game with floating arms and legs that I don't find horrid-looking.
Probably because the limbs are fixed as if there were invisible arms and legs.

It was based of lego. But we all know that all copyrighted material was removed before retail. It's kinda like saying megablocks is the same thing as lego. They're very similar, but if you say they're the same I will rip your larynx out.
