--- Quote from: Woolys on February 05, 2012, 09:43:59 PM ---I'm not trying to act intelligent, I actually know these things and feel the need to point it out when someone gets it wrong. Thanks for your concern though. You could call me a nerd since I recently moved to a new school. So I have nothing to do but research things I have questions about. If you are saying being curious is the same as being stupid then are you even a human?

You in a nutshell.

Saying "Google it" is much easier than doing the research yourself, any intelligent person would know that.

My sister took a picture, and she opened her eyes real wide so they look big. Someone questioned why her eyes were so big and you responded with:

--- Quote from: Woolys on January 30, 2012, 11:09:15 PM ---The computer screen causes prolonged exposure to highly concentrated light, this highly concentrated pool of light is focused largely on an area I will refer to as the "retina", the opening of the eyes is the human body's coupled reaction to the iris constricting, extending, and relaxing. The human brain cannot easily judge whether to adjust to the natural light or the screen light. This causes stress on the iris and the eyelid reaction becomes more extreme. The filamentous protein molecules contained in various muscles, Myosin and Actin are stimulated more than what is considered a normal degree depending on the extremes of the external stimuli. The over stimulation causes the brain to move this action into the subconscious mind, much like the act of breathing but less radical. The urban term for this method of action is called a "habit." This is why her eyes are "huge as forget."

Really doe.

Oh I just read the quotes you posted, I learned most of that in science class. Not by googling it.
