Regardless, if it was my builds and you were hosting them without asking me first then it's stealing. And no, the brown townogy of default saves doesn't really apply, because they are DEFAULT...

He was having fun battling another empire when you apparently shut the server down or something, so he saved the build so he could continue it on his own server.
Saving builds is not a crime.

he's not claiming he made the build. he outright said he took it from alpha's server. explain to me exactly who gets hurt when someone sees a build they like and reuses it while still giving credit to the original creator of said build

Being able to save and load anyone's builds is a wonderful feature. It saddens me to see people getting so possessive over builds. There is no loving harm in what the guy is doing. In order for complaining about what you consider build stealing to be an intelligent concept, he would need to be going around publicizing the other person's builds and claiming it to be his own, or possibly taking a private build that he had been given trust to see and hosting it.

It's interesting, because I usually judge people by what they complain about, and I find the ones who complain about save/load related things (save blockers, build stealing, etc) to be some of the stupidest complainers on the forum.
