Maybe once this update is done, it can be made so that faces/decals and prints don't glow? That and the name draw distance/visibility could be very useful in making DM's and such

Some changes that would go along with this very well:
 - Making prints not glow.
 - Removing restrictions on hiding player names.

So wait, does this mean that we can have non-hacky flashlights now?
The last one I remember spawned a small light where you were aiming.

As in- might that be done in a future update after this one?

Will all of our saves on terrain or interior maps (or the saves at all) be deleted? And what if we put some hard work into builds on interior/terrain, will they just be deleted?

They will be converted to Slate saves.

The only thing that happens to "convert" a save is to change the folder it is in, and I am going to just assume that blockland isn't going to be moving around saves.  However, it might not be completely out of the question to go away with the map folder system altogether since now all maps are either going to be slate or empty space.

shaders should be forced to the server's choice, not the client's choice
If they where server sided wouldn't it affect if the had modified shaders and you would want to play with an un-modified shader?
That would force everyone to use the modified shader.
Also just mute the players with client side mute if its an issue.

In the next version If you build a whole box with bricks to make it look dark and then re-light it will the lights you spawn cast shadows on players,and dts objects?

I would love to be able to make custom shaders.

what if you wanted to use them for a tdm like people here said. people could just turn them off.
