Can we have an option to adjust the level of brightness we want for the shaders to our liking? Some people want super bright while others want sort of shiny.

Good question. The final version will be carefully tweaked, and there will probably be some way to tweak it if you want.

Will this be a client or server sided change? If its client, it would be a shame to build something for a certain effect just so someone else could view it in an unintended manner.

That's a good point, but I don't think that this will bode well with the possibility of a detailed day-night-weather cycle.

It's always client because some people have stuffty computers.

Most projectiles move so fast no one is going to notice.

When there a lot of light, or when the projectile goes slow enough, sure they will.

It'd be so cool when projectiles are shot in the dark and they light up. ;)
