This update will allow far more possibilities that terrain and interiors restrained us from doing before. It isn't just about graphics. Tons of other stuff is going to get better and new features will be possible as well. with terrain and interiors in the way, yes, we are. --- End quote --- So, by removing terrain that was completely optional to use we can move forward? What "features"? All I saw are shaders. |

If it was optional to have terrain in the game, then we wouldn't be having the problems we are having now. It has to go. It looks bad and outdated, and the overwhelming majority of terrain maps have a level of detail equivalent to a Nintendo 64 game. As I said before, --- Quote from: Planr on February 07, 2012, 04:58:45 PM ---This is 2012, not 1995. It is time to move on. --- End quote --- And to be honest, I myself rarely ever build on terrain maps. 99% of everything I build is on a slate map. --- Quote from: brickybob on February 07, 2012, 05:26:26 PM ---What "features"?
