I'm probably the only one who plays DF with the original ASCII tileset. Although when it gets to the point that colored symbols are burned into my eyelids, I'll switch to graphical for a while. I don't like Call of Duty, Battlefield or any other shooters similar to them. It just seems like they're the exact same game with a few new maps and guns and a slight improvement in graphics, and the only reason they're still around is because of multiplayer. But really the only two FPSes that could be relatively similar are BF3 and CoD but even then they are different games spare the modern setting and shooting. |

Not that the two games themselves are copies of each other. |
