Why the forget do my zombies spawn on the normal spawns?

I'm trying to make The Last Stand from L4D in Blockland. It works with Rot's mod, since it doesn't use the director. For zombies to appear, you have to turn on a generator. The generator uses events to spawn zombies. With the director enabled, the zombies just spawn right away. The thing is though, Rot's zombies are pretty dumb. I'd like to try your zombies but as far as I know it's impossible to spawn them using events without disabling it's director.

HOW I SPAWN THESE THINGS
If you want to be able to spawn zombies in a specific place you need to make sure it meets the criteria for a zombie TO spawn.
Hidden from view? [X]
At least a 16x16 away [X] (Doesn't have to be 16, just a reasonable distance away to make sure it checks the "Players on zombie spawns" Criteria")
And if you want it to spawn specifics just select it in the (Zombie spawn Brick's) menu otherwise it might throw you 4 hunters a smoker and 32 standards.
I'm sure there is other criteria, but this seems to work for me consistently.
Technically what most people have been asking for is already implemented.
You just need to have toyed around with it to figure out how it works, people expect it to be as dumbed down as Rotondos.
In reality I'll use this any day purely because of the path-finding.
If other stuff like this persists I might make a whole guide on it to give people some sense.

Yes this is what we need.
SgtDaemon:
Pathfinding with events. Zombies rather try to jump over a 64x64 block then goung around it.
I mean, like
Onzombietouch > named brick > Go.
But if they spot a player from more then X studs away, they ignore the event and attack the player instead.
Or a "free" event which does the same ^
CityRPG:
So, knowing what people are trying to accomplish now, what I have is an event tweak for the director and another mode.
I think the issue people are having is they want a sort of "dumb game" where zombies just keep respawning over and over again like one of those point shop servers.
I'll add in an event called "Panic Mode" that will lift all director restrictions (except for "too far" checks"), and add in another Gamemode for hosting those sorts of games.
