Assassin's Creed III is set to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 30th. Ubisoft has said that a major announcement will be revealed in the coming days, and the game's official site currently features a countdown.

The main characters name is Connor who has a british father and native american mother

he was raised by the Mohawk indians and when his village is burned down by colonists thats where it starts

judging by the characters background it sounds more plausible that he's fighting AGAINST the colonists/americans
i mean, he has a british father and native american mother, and was raised by indians. the colonists treated indians horribly, logically he should be fighting against them. and supposedly some of the american founding fathers were "free masons" or whatever, possibly successors to the templars in assassin's creed world?

definitely excited for this.

-Not all the Colonists will be cast as good people, and not all the British will be cast as evil oppressors. They're trying to focus on how both the Assassins and Templars viewpoints exist in a gray morality as the Templars really believe they're saving the world.

Its always Templars Vs Assassins. Always. The other games had them grouped, but now they are spread out amongst the two sides which is cool and more realistic

Holy stuff, this game looks good, though I will be sort of sad seeing medieval era stuff leaving, colonial times is cooler. I hope they don't go to modern though, it would ruin the aesthetic of the series. Also, my name is Connor, win!
