Paid firefighters in my city have marked emergency vehicles with solid red lights. Volunteer firefighters though are allowed to equip solid blue lights to their privately owned vehicles in order to respond to fires. Since their cars are not registered emergency vehicles they are not allowed to equip red lights. Police here have red and blue lightbars.

vehicles), ambulance personnel, owners and handlers of dogs used in tracking humans,
and volunteer firefighters may each equip one personal vehicle with no more than two
flashing or revolving blue lights or one light-bar assembly containing no more than two
blue lights. Only blue lights may be used on the light-bar assembly. See Figure 3.1.

coroner, medical examiner or fire police vehicles may be equipped with flashing or
revolving blue lights in addition to red lights—combination red-and-blue lights. The

My Alienware M11x lighting is all red, my computer case lights are red, the large wall which my computer desk is up against is painted red... I like red.

Haha its not hard to mount them under the body of a vehicle.

I could have gotten exterior lights but since any neon is illegal in my state, I would get pulled over and fined everytime a cop passed me. I choose interior because its harder for police to see. With exterior they would see me coming before I would have a chance to switch them off.
