Don't really know how to explain this. But, I was thinking about having a command put an emitter onto your hat/head.
Like:
/effect -EmitterNameHere-
If anyone's willing to script this for me I'd be grateful. I'm sure it wouldn't take too long.

I'm actually amazed someone hasn't though of this before. It's a really neat idea. The default particles wouldn't work too well since the player moves but perhaps some custom ones? I might do a few if I have time.

The movement problem would just leave a trail of the effect behind it right? I wouldn't mind some that had trails as you walked around.

Heh, you could put the wrench effect on, but that might force people to call you a nut.

I wasn't thinking of tf2 at the time i thought of this. :P
I was on my server messing with magic and then i felt that hats needed more effects.

Only problem is if a lot of people did this at once it might cause lag.

Not any more than usual. It's just an emitter.

Actually..there should be armor affects :D
