Animations Versus Lag

I think every modder has seen this problem.

Well, is there an actual way to fix this?

It's actually like, you have a statement to play a custom made animation.
But when it reaches to that statement, and you lag, it plays multiple times, making it feel weird.

I've never actually heard of this before. Are you sure it's lag causing it and not some error in your code causing the animation to reset?
