Author Topic: How do you motivate yourself to build?  (Read 3311 times)

Don't worry about making mistakes.

Self-doubt is poison to motivation.
This all the way. Also focus on one step at a time, don't "zoom out" and discourage yourself by thinking how long this will take. Approach the build each day, separately, and don't think too far ahead.

Though, setting long term goals works for some.

i build in stages. first i do basic lame walls, then punch out bricks and add details and trimmings. then interior details and objects.

sometimes when i build on to large a scale, i get bored of the basics cuz i never get to the fun details lol

When I build, I use a game called powder game to plan it.
