I thought a "smart kid" WASN'T a person who studied all night and got an A+, but a kid who didn't study at all and get a B minus.

Smart people aren't the ones who study and get A+'s.
Smart people are the ones who never study at all and ace every test.

It doesn't incite any fighting over who is more intelligent, anyone who is intelligent or at least self aware will rank themselves accordingly without needing to make it public considering everyone's own strengths and weaknesses. It does make everyone think OP is a bloody idiot when he puts morons on the list, though.
