Feep:

--- Quote ---Aces High takes the art and science of vintage WW1 and WW2 air combat and sets it in a high intensity online multiplayer environment.  Hundreds of players simultaneously battle it out against each other in massive aerial dogfights and bomber raids.

High fidelity flight simulation is the heart of Aces High but it doesn't end there.  A war rages on the ground and at sea.  Engage enemy armor in tank combat.  Protect your fleet as a gunner or make a torcreep run in a PT boat.  Lead an assault in an amphibious vehicle.  With over 100 warbirds, vehicles, and boats available, you have access to a vast virtual arsenal.

Take part in special events such as historical scenarios where famous battles are recreated and reimagined or try your hand at air racing at tree top level against skilled competitors.

In the air, on land, and at sea, the battle rages 24 hours a day with participants from around the world.  Take our free two week trial and find out why Aces High is the online game for you.

Ah, I remember this game, downloaded+installed+registered it three different times in like, three different years, because I'd keep forgetting my username.
It's fun, but you have to be committed to a mission. A single bombing raid can take 30+ minutes, and you could very well be shot down just before you shoot your load all over the enemies base, wasting your effort/time.

yeah me and aloshi flew for like 15 minutes in a b-17

he actually shot down a guy from the rear gun

i was amazed, his first time playing AH2, too.

also i landed in a field (ours) that was being bombed while i landed and a bomb went off in the hangar next to us and we literally shat so many bricks when i touched down and went off the runway and into the ground and we where like LOL forget
i had to use my rudder to do a 360 spin and then full throttle

Even once I got decent at bombing, I still never really learned the importance of landing.
A lot of times, I just get in one of the really fast jets and fly around for fun, usually in single player.
