Maybe Nintendo will clear it or something, but there will still always be the pre-fix wprld record I guess.

The only reason I'd probably get a 3DS is to play Project X Zone, so I'd have to move to Japan and get a 3DS there unless there's no region lock like other older consoles. :T

3DS is 100% region lock, but I'm sure you can get around it some way.
