Believe it or not, this is actually what many 3DS fans wanted.

I have a revolutionary idea: how about they make something that average people will actually want.

If they make a tablet they may get more customers than their target customer range of 3-15 years old.

But then the gaming fans, which is a ton of people, will complain about Nintendo missing out on button layouts, which Nintendo has been doing for the past 30 years.
Extrude:
I highly doubt anybody will care about buttons when the screen is 10x bigger than any Nintendo device before it, and devs who develop for Android and iOS will start to make games for it that aren't weaboo extreme.
