I wish Nintendo would do that matte finish they do with the XL for the normal 3DS models, I'd probably trade mine in if they did.

that's too bad
because it's awesome

but then even better
it even has this nintendogs-ish menu where you can bond with your pet dream eaters in some minigames.

I like the shiny look though, the whole reason I'm not buying an XL is because its not shiny and glossy.
