The game will not crash due to lack of memory, just run very slowly. --- End quote --- Windows XP will automatically close processes that exceed the available memory. There is typically a warning right before that limit is reached, though. |

--- Quote from: pecon98 on March 02, 2012, 01:55:31 PM ---Windows XP will automatically close processes that exceed the available memory. --- End quote --- No it doesn't. It moves it into page file, which is slow and controlled by the hard drive. --- Quote from: pecon98 on March 02, 2012, 01:55:31 PM ---There is typically a warning right before that limit is reached, though. --- End quote --- Yeah, and the warning says that it's increasing the page file so less frequently used memory gets moved to page file. I used to get this all the time on my old computer, in many games. It wouldn't ever close the game, it would just start running slowly, or having spikes constantly. |

It's not my RAM. I have run this game on 512 MB of RAM for years... without lag... up until just now. It's something else, and I bet it has something to do with the last update. In fact, I used to run Blockland while running Firefox and my Windows Mediaplayer at the same time. No... I need a solution, not excuses. Here is the Trace Console log requested, uploaded on Mediafire, as directed. http://www.mediafire.com/?8wx46w1p35ebdp9 |

It actually seems to be an error with RTB for some reason. Try removing RTB (temporarily) and try again. |
