If you lived in the fallout universe, what would you do?

Personally, I believe I would set up a house near an ncr outpost, on a road leading to new vegas. I would drill a water pump, and let people fill use as much water they want for about 100 caps.

I would fix up a car. Start a trading colony and set up trade with the NCR.
Or I would join the NCR.
Edit: I would also write books.
And If I'm no were close to the NCR or I'm some how disliked I would try to find and start a hotel and shoot any ghoul on site.
But then agian it would be nice to live in a vault.
