Where should Fallout 4 take place?
Man 2:
A great deal of Bethesda's intended purpose with Fallout was to create irony, that such a pretentioussuperpower as America fell victim to nuclear war just as the rest of the world. Especially in Fallout 3 that took place in the nation's capital, with every landmark ruined by decades of disrepair. There are several references to communism and homage to not only the art styles, architecture, and culture of 1950s America, but to the Red Scare as well. These events primarily occurred in America and to set Fallout in another country would effectively ruin the game.
Mulch:
Chicago guys duh.
Night Fox:
I think somewhere in Britain would be cool
or Japan
somewhere famous and not in America

Fallout seemed like America was pretty old-fashioned (with high-end technology as long as some oddly low-end, silly Fallout) when the bombs fell despite it being years ahead of now, so it'd make about as much sense.
Mulch:
You guys are idiots, America makes fallout. The whole theme is about the failed society of America. You can't just transplant Fallout into China.
