What I meang by larger space, is the blu-ray. Large games and GOTY editions don't need to be split upon multiple disks.

The Verge isn't Kotaku.

what about it>free multiplayer
yeah, that's a bonus, but I like the aesthetics of xbox live more than psn
>friends
okay you've got me there
>larger space
ehh, just hook up another hard drive, or buy a bigger one
>all of those games
I don't like any of those games
>childhood
ok

I have both consoles, and I use the xbox much more due to better aesthetics, more comfortable controllers (and a better joystick layout)
So let me get this straight, he shouldn't buy a PS3 because you don't like any of the games that he wants? Nice.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

It will be extremely hard to compete.

If I've heard right, that's just a computer.

This would be nice for the people with crap computers.
Also, in the above comic, I read what Gabe said in his voice...

Consoles are obsolete. Computer gaming is where it's at, and Valve should know that, considering they've catered to us thus far. :D

If anyone actually read the information it says that it will be able to run Origin, which means they're making it run on Windows. Hence, they're making a fancy PC to have a completely-steam based and integrated desktop environment and have a standard-based specifications so that everyone runs games the same. Unless EA magically decided that they would create software for a major competitor's console..?

I like console gaming because you can invite friends over and play splitscreen

Multiplayer really isn't the same on a PC, where multiplayer is limited to online against separate computers.
