Making vehicles slide around like ice with Zone events?

Title sums it up,
how would I make it so that a zone makes a vehicle slides on a surface like ice?
(not too slippery though, just enough so it's tough to handle)

I don't know much about zones, you'd probably have to make a script so that when the vehicle enters the zone its speed would increase, causing it to go faster but drift a lot. Higher speeds can even make a wheel or two break, so be careful with this.

eh, i don't exactly know how script, but i'll try to do something with events.
