| How do you prove that a steam game was purchased and not gifted |

I bought Portal 2 but this fatty here doesn't believe me. How prove. So far all I have is that Portal 2 isn't in my gifted games subsection. |

You firmly sit in front of him, have him sit him down for a talk. Look him dead in the eye and say. "I bought Portal 2" if that doesn't work then I don't know what will. Also you have some generous friends. |

Settings > Account > View Account History It shows if it was a gift, complimentary, bought on steam store, or retail. |
