How do you prove that a steam game was purchased and not gifted
Shell:
I bought Portal 2 but this fatty here doesn't believe me.
How prove.
So far all I have is that Portal 2 isn't in my gifted games subsection.

Look him dead in the eye and say. "I bought Portal 2" if that doesn't work then I don't know what will.
Also you have some generous friends.

It shows if it was a gift, complimentary, bought on steam store, or retail.

i was also gifted TF2 but it's in my "games i play a lot" section due to not being able to have games in more than one section.
