Author Topic: The Great Key Hunt - dunno when this is gonna happen  (Read 1671 times)

Hey!
I'm doing a contest for 5 TF2 keys. I'm going to post the actual contest later tonight. For now, I'm gonna create a signup thread of people who want to take part, to see who's interested.
The contest will entail multiple encryption methods, so brush up on your ciphers!
Sign up here by posting your steam profile link.
I'll hold the contest in a few hours.

Post away!

UPDATE: Posting contest tomorrow. Leaving entries open.

Can we just do a raffle? It's unfair because some nerd is going to have superdecoder5000 pro and win them all.

I don't even play TF2 but I like ciphers. If I somehow win I'll probably just release them to the first people who post or whatever.

well, a raffle seems too easy, you can probably see what I mean
I don't think a superdecoder5000 pro would work because you'd have to figure out what cipher was used to encrypt the message
I'll simplify the idea I originally had, okay?

oh okay cool

all you have to do is have it calculate a stuffload of different ciphers and it can list them all and you can pick which one is legit

Then we also have the difference in timezone for some that will give some an advantage while giving some a disadvantage..
