Lucid dreams make me sad, it always ends up with me waving goodbye to the people who inhabit the temporal universe, and as they wave back I close my eyes and wake up.

I swear, they even behaved like real people. The recent one included a bloody war over an airport. Missiles were being launched from the runways by hundreds, the sky was lit up with lightning and falling aircraft. The people who were with me even told me not to wake up just yet; they were the ones that made me realize that I was dreaming. One person even held me tight crying, "don't wake up!" she yelled.
what call of duty version is this

That last bit got me.
If there was a war/battle and stuff got emotional like that, why not just end the war/battle?
It is, after all, your dreamworld.

That actually made me feel better.
It was meant to. :)

It began as a dream, near the end I realized I was dreaming.
I was busy thinking on how rare this occurs and how bad I felt for the dream people because I then realized I had to wake up.

If I'm corrct, you can't CONTROL your dream, but more like guide it. Right?

I tried this the other night after reading this, because I thought it would be cool. I wasn't expecting for this to work on the first try, but it did. I have to say that this Lucid Dreaming thing is amazing. At first I was screwing around in my Homeroom at school, which was strangely fun in the dream, then I switched over and entered a zombie apocalypse with the cast of The Walking Dead. After all that, my alarm woke me up for school. I think I'm going to do it again tonight since it was easy and fun. But I was tired when I woke up and had some pain in unusual places.

For some dreams it's control, for some it's guidance. It really depends on the dream on how well you can control (or guide) it.

Apparently my experience didn't work completely, that I can remember.
I do remember laying in bed for 20 minutes, not one movement (Which really sucks)
My eyes though, were going all weird. I started going crosseyed or drifting off and seeing stuff, but as for a dream, null. Maybe tonight.

oh I see. Hmmm I'm trying this out tonight.

So, has anyone had a bad trip yet?
Like so bad, you don't want to do it again?

Not I, no.
Actually, I haven't lucidly dreamt yet. I did have one dream, and I only knew that I was able to control or 'guide' it after I woke up.

I'd say the sleep paralysis is the scariest part. Anything 'bad' happening in a dream would probably be more interesting than scary. For me at least.

Sleep paralysis is indeed the scariest repercussion for lucidly dreaming, but once you realize that you're awake and its all in your head its easy to change the mood.

I remember having an amazing lucid dream. I had absolute complete control over it. It actually felt real. Same home, same town, same everything. I could cast spells and do a whole bunch of other awesome stuff. I went on a big ass adventure with my friends which seemed to last hours. When the best and final dramatic part of my journey was about to arrive, I woke up. forget.

I tried sp last night and I was twitching because I itched so bad.  I gave up because I felt like a bunch of bugs on my legs crawling.  I panicked.
