Gaming PC can indeed be a console.
Counter98:
Xbox 360 - Cheap, but breaks and crashes. Especially old ones.
PS3 - Rather nice actually, but expensive
Wii - Fun games, but not a whole lot of variety. Graphics are never too terribly good either.
DS - Fun, mobile, fairly wide variety of games, but lacking in graphics. (At least it has scribblenauts)
PC - Can be anything you want

I would love to have a Gaming PC, so it is my favorite, but alas, I don't.
I love my XBOX though.

PS3 has free online. So that's a win. But Xbox has more and better games. Plus more of my friends have Xbox LIVE.
