Seems like a reliable theory. Lock this topic & inform the government, we've solved the problem with those useless kids.

MISSION: IGNORANCE 2012 - JOSEPH WHO?

I don't care if sandwich reads this or not, I'm only trying to say that government is just an easy way out and an forgets everyone in it's wake eventually.

Fun Fact - Kony is not supported by any government and is in the private sector.  :cookieMonster:

That's an incredibly specific definition.
The general definition that embodies that well is extreme cruelty.
I thought you were supposed to be an english teacher.
i have never heard this
i don't think that's an accepted use
there's no cruelty here to begin with

What do you mean? Sadistic implies he wants innocent children to be harmed and enjoys the idea. I think the approach he is taking is more so indifference. basically the past page in a nutshell. I guess it goes with the old maxim that if the world won't stop for us, why should we stop for it. don't think i've heard that one, i'm keeping it in mind, nice. And though I agree that ignoring happenings in the world will rarely lead to good, that it is important to learn from the world around you, and that empathy must be extended to all members of mankind, at the same time we have to understand that not everything can be solved by a matter of desire. dreams don't come true etc etc, you know how it is And while we shouldn't always wait for others to solve issues, we have to decide what issues we approach.

I understand why you feel strongly about this Seventh, I do. And for the most part, I agree with you. But at the same time, you have to understand that others feel differently and that is the nature of the world. like i've been saying, he and some others are too close minded to accept that people have different opinions. it might not even be the subject of the opinion that matters, but simply the fact that i disagree with him. it wouldn't be horribly surprising, considering our forum's penchant for attracting the worst of the socially handicapped... Sometimes it may be sadistic or malicious, but in this case it really isn't. Taboo's view, in moderation (Which he seems to have just fine), is completely valid and can even be argued in the extreme. i can think of a number of people who would take my stance FOR the reasons that sev is accusing me of, yes. those people are people i don't really associate with at all, and you'd be able to tell if i was one of those sort.

'Not sure if you're being sarcastic or just you.... :o e. all of the above

That's a loving stupid ideology to take and you know it. The only reason you even entertain this lunatic's ideas is because you desperately uphold your reputation of being kind and neutral when really all you're doing is mulling over the arguments of a man who has no desire to actually convince anyone of anything, but instead wants to seem edgy and profound by disagreeing with everything.

Others don't have the right to say stupid stuff because they are human. When an organism grows a mutation that inhibits it's ability to function or reproduce, it's killed off by natural selection. The only reason this kind of stuff is tolerable is because of the free nature of the internet. Luckily for us Taboo is an English teacher and will most likely never account to anything significant in American politics.

And what? You think it's not sadistic to disparage the efforts of a filmmaker trying to build awareness for a criminal who is manipulating literally thousands of children to try and build his own theocratic society through bloodshed? It is. Taboo might not be mutilating the people himself, but by ignoring their problems he is contributing to it.

Did you watch the video? They clearly said that they deployed several whatevers of troops there. They also showed them whining to congress members about deploying troops. They even read aloud a letter written by Barack Obama stating that they deployed troops there.

It's not like there aren't better more efficient ways of getting the same thing accomplished. Government should be a last resort, a big red button, because if you push it, there is always a chance it will backfire terribly, and getting it done or not, they will find the most expensive way of doing (or not doing) it.

And once you get them in, how the forget will you get them out? Look how long it took to get the Army out of the middle east.

tl;dr: Taboo is a loving douchebag who doesn't care about children suffering.

Dork, are you really that naive and angry, or is this just a show you put on to troll people that want to help blacks?

Are you familiar with Haliburton?

Well, let me fill you in.

Haliburton is a massive, multi-billion dollar corporation that nobody has ever heard of. It's owned by richard Cheney, former vice president of the United States of America. I know of two very distinct, unrelated fiascoes that were perpetrated by Haliburton.

1. The BP Oil CrCIA.
Haliburton owned that oil rig. Haliburton is the one that didn't properly maintain it. When it blew up, Haliburton blamed BP. The only thing BP had to do with that rig was buy oil from it. They did not manage its well being and they did not construct it. Haliburton did. It's so much easier to blame a foreign oil executive that makes a fool out of himself by participating in Yatch races than it is to blame the good ol' boy from the white house.

2. The Rebuilding of Iraq
Guess who's contracted by the US Government to rebuild Iraq? Haliburton. Haliburton was contracted by the Bush Administration while its CEO was still the vice-president to reconstruct the country that same vice president had supporting blowing the forget up.

Haliburton is a private industry and is just as evil and manipulative as the government, because in reality, private industry and the government are the same loving thing. The only difference is, Government occasionally tries to do the right thing, whereas the best that Walmart has ever done is take products back a week after I bought them that I actually broke myself. That, and sell cans of peanuts with pink ribbons on them because they give a 10 cents to the "save the titties" foundation for every 10 pound can I buy.

Face it, all we have is the Government. Who else is going to take out a power-crazed madman molesting kids in the middle of an African rainforest? Mark Zuckerburg? Shut the forget up.
