Keep your terrible ideas to the weird protester hipsters that think the same lol.

Yeah, we should wait until it becomes like that right?

Yet it hasn't.

Yeah, we should wait until it becomes like that right?
So if we decide to go after someone abducting children for his army, the same (or something equally terrible) will happen here?

It also helps that we have strong everything in the country, and a government that isn't a dictatorship.

It's the fact that the more we shift focus away from our own issues the worse they will get. Our economy is still in the toilet, we have crazy religious nut jobs who want to be president, and the American working class is becoming discontent. Instead of fixing this, let's go to Uganda
I could only guess you are part of the same group of people that wanted us to remove our involvement from the Middle East, but yet you want to us to go to Uganda, for no gain whatsoever. Why do we need to do stuff for other countries?

So they'll do stuff for us when we need it, maybe?

Uganda, one of the poorest nations in the world, will help us. Great

You only said "other countries". Not "Uganda"

Well now I'm being specific. I could probably see us helping a nation with important natural resources like oil and stuff. But Uganda man...

Well what do you have against helping the poor?

Except anyone who reads Forbes and the government who has designated him as a terrorist 4 years ago and started a peace keeping mission a year ago, it's basically old news and no one really should care. The guy who started this movement is filled with unwarranted self-importance and everyone who follows is dumb and supports America as the world's douchey police force. How can we help others when our own country is crumbling?

Wow, you forgot that a border is a concept and Humanity is the only country.
There is no USA.

We are more than capable of handling our problems, you're the one complaining about the service of a five star hotel.

I don't think you understand that we are not trying to invade or start a war. That's basically what your other examples of going to countries are about. This is to stop one man. and one man only. This is basic morality.

Yes, we have our own issues to work on and yes, those issues exist. (Though the "religious nut jobs" part is mostly your opinion.)  And this is already an issue we're involved in.  We currently have troops over in Uganda teaching their troops how to use different technologies to try and track down Kony.  The idea of this movement is to bring more awareness to the issue so we don't just give up while we have him on the run.

You're putting words in my mouth. (or words in my text box?)  I was just saying that what you posted was a little ridiculous.  I never said I was for or against the movement, or for or against our involvement in the middle east.
