Well we wouldn't know that since there was absolutely no epilogue or anything that signified what you did in the game mattered. Also I don't understand why there wasn't a option to let the cycle continue. I mean I know the whole point of the game is to stop the reaper invasion but I think there should be a option to just let the cycle continue.

Hmmm, Krogan army or Frog fleet......Gigantic brutes that can charge stuff or lizards with brains......I'm go with the krogan since I like Wrex.
