World of Tanks has a nice idea of how you can make donations without being P2W, same as for Alliance of Valiant arms, to an extent. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with people getting stuff by donations but the given stuff should be accessible to a normal player (See: Alliance of Valiant Arms) sooner or later, or there shall better items which are given to the users which play normally (See: World of Tanks, seriously, the premium tanks in that game are garbage, but that is because the game has a very good meaning of tiers [also, you can buy better shells so I guess it fits under a P2W kinda, but not too much because even so you can be taken out by another tank if you don't do it correctly]). |

Paying for things that give you an advantage over others is a loving horrible idea. Tell the host he is a complete stuff host and his server is terrible. If he was intelligent he'd sell cosmetic features that give no advantage in gameplay if he wanted donations. |
