I need reasons why you shouldn't be able to buy power.

But does that impact the free playerbase in any way at all? Does it affect you if someone paid real money to get a powerful item?
No, it's inconsequential power which does nothing to alter the gameplay experience of the free user, it's also power which pays for the server costs and the staff wages of the company which let you play the game for free unless you choose otherwise.
Paying for power is only a problem when it is utterly game breaking, when it shifts the balance of everything in favour of just one person and when it is detrimental to the gameplay experience of the free users who make up a vast portion of the playerbase.
If maplestory was a competitive game my stance would be completely different because in competitive games which rely on skill to offer a bailout card to anyone who doesn't want to get better under their own skill and patience as long as they pay money is when paying for power becomes unfair and game breaking

>Non corrupted player plays game.

>Happens constantly.
>Non corrupted player gets sick of it and buys power.
>Becomes corrupt and does the same thing to other players.
>cycle repeats.

All skillbooks can be bought and sold in the free market, they aren't paying for anything that only they can get in that instance

You are wrong. I have an Evan and a Dual Blade. You have to purchase their mastery books from level 30 ~ 70 with NX.
