A test you take so that colleges accept you. There is a math, reading, and writing portion. It took about five and half hours to complete.

For those of you who don't know, the SAT is a standardized tests that colleges use to judge you. It used to stand for Scholastic Aptitude Test or something, but it doesn't anymore because it doesn't test your scholastic aptitude.

It's not 5 and a half hours, it should be more like 4-4.5 hours.

Not the same SAT.

The SAT is provided by one company and is not based on what state you are in. However, most colleges in the middle of the country prefer that you take the ACT, which is basically the same type of thing but from a different company.
