This thread is completely contradicting your 2nd paragraph. The OP didn't even wait and see whether he would act the same way he did several months ago. That argument is completely incorrect in terms of this thread. Additionally, even someone who isn't egotistical will defend themselves when someone is trying blatant character assassination.
