Maxis has given up, I'm pretty sure Spore is no longer theirs.
It's just one absolutely magnificent concept lost in the depths of EA's money-grabbing pockets.

Holy forget, the bigger planets mod brought me back to this game, it makes planets much more interesting and adds more planets to solar systems.

I've logged a good 200 hours or so in Spore and Galactic Adventures. This practically defines nostalgia for me. I wish I could find my GA key so I could play it again. :(
