He never went as far as to say they're so useless they need to be banned, just that they've contributed nothing.
Although I can concur with your second point, you over-exaggerated his statement a bit.

Twente deserved his ban either way. He was acting like a complete forget lately, and to a point made by Sev, he contributed nearly nothing. Not that people who don't contribute should be gone, it's just that Twente was almost useless.
