I really hated the fact that it was not open-roam but only linear

Wasteland is finally getting a sequel. Wasteland was one of Interplay's older roleplaying games that eventually led to the creation of the Fallout series.

I haven't played Metro 2033, but I disagree. Pretty much anything can be either (with notable exceptions) if done properly. And apparently, it was.
It pretty much depends on the feeling wanted in it, I suppose. I could explain better if I'd actually played Metro because examples. :c
