Star Wars: TOR question

So I just upgraded(?) to the sith Marauder class, and I only received one lightsaber, and I cant equip it. It will either say that I need a primary weapon before equipping that one, so I put my apprentices foil in the first slot, but then when I try to equip it, it says "slot full".
any help as to why? am I missing something here?
I tried the TOR forums but I couldn't because it gave me some weird message or whatever, so I came here.

I had that bag, which contained one lightsaber, not 2 as I previously thought it wouldve.

One of the lightsabers might be Mainhand only, one of them should be both Mainhand and Offhand, unless you somehow lost one of those. I don't remember having this problem on my Marauder.

yea I found it, I upgraded before completing the final trial, which was of course getting the lightsaber from that tomb.
a "you idiot.." moment for me.
