This is probably the best advice you can get for improving.

That and watching some Discovery/History Channel Stories that cover the desired architectural style.

I'm pretty sure that you will make progress if you accept negative/positive/constructive criticism, and for example take a look of other people's builds, then LIGHTLY copy them, and when you are good enough, you can start building your own stuff.

True special effects is achieved through well-executed use of both events and brick properties. You're doing well so far, but using some events to trigger scenarios and whatnot also helps alot.

Funny thing is, what Ive shown is about 1/3 of what I actually have.

well i work on it all the time adding more effect and more traps this weekend will be grand opening for temple of death with new fetures. You guys are welcome to join and see how fun it is.i mean yeah the build not that great untill u actually enter the temple and see all the crazy traps and effects i promise ull love it.also only 5 are allowed in temple so make sure ur first to be there. temple of death open 7pm eastern time usa on friday.come join and experience the adventure!!!
