Fame should only be spent on Amulets. Try to resist the urge to buy drake eggs and tinctures :)

3/8 means like
You start at 0/8.
when you max a stat, for example, a wizard and you got 25 def (it would be yellow) you're a 1/8.
Max dex and def, its 2/8.
It doesnt matter how much fame yo have

I haven't spent any of it yet.
But I'm just asking, when I'm currently at 400 / 800 fame how much progress have I made out of /8
Can anyone get online? It doesn't seem to be working for me and some other people... maintenance ?

to the first one, no.
0/8 means how much stats you maxed.
Fame, it doesnt matter.
For the other part, It's maintence i'm pretty sure.

The fame bar tells you how much you need to get the next star on the character.
