| Terraria - Hell - How to know when ready for hell? |

I've been playing a lot of Terraria recently and I dug to hell. Is there a way to know when I'm ready to explore hell? (world is either medium or large) |

Do you mean when I get to hell or before hell? |
| Yosher:
You need at least Shadow Scale armor, Jungle armor or Necro armor, an obsidian skull and probably rocket boots or a grapple. Or both. Maybe some obsidian skin potions too if you have them, they are great protection from lava. |
