The prospect of eternity in hell is not one to be taken lightly.

And what does this have to do with bouncing wheelchair guy?

While this is a great way to see that not everyone is athiest, and there are actually surprising amounts of christians on the internet, this is a flamewar waiting to happen. Infact, it probably already has.

The prospect of eternity in hell is not one to be taken lightly.
ye whaeva

Agnosticism is not that you can't make up your mind, but that you accept that making up your mind would be an illogical thing to do (unless evidence came to light that the situation was no longer metaphysical).
THANK YOU.
Atheism and religion both piss me off - there's no logical backing towards either.

There's no logical backing towards not believing in the tooth fairy!

Ah, but Night Fox, if pure chance went the other way, you wouldn't be able to tell because you wouldn't exist.

I believe it is pure chance. It could fail a million times over before happening, and to us it would feel like it only happened once. Get what I mean?

I don't believe the universe and life could have just 'happened' but i don't care enough to look for an answer, so agnostic.

If you've ever taken a 101 Philosophy class (and no, that does not make you deep), there's a fun little question you can ask:

Who's to say that the universe wasn't created no more than five minutes ago and that our memories and carbon dating and any indication of "age" was created along with it?

That one really likes to forget with you.
