No it does not. Apparently ignorance == idiocy to some...
Let's face it, all of us used to be the "high ID" people at one time.

The problem with getting some of the people on youtube who frequently popularize indie games to make videos about blockland is multi-faceted. Blockland does not really lend itself well to videos except for machinima and showing off already-made builds with nice pans and vfx, neither of which somebody who has just bought a blockland key is going to be capable of making for their youtube channel. Watching a person build with lego in a 15 minute video is not interesting for anyone but the person making it. The second part is that there's a lot of bits of blockland that we take for granted. I would imagine that, were someone like Tobuscus or Totalbiscuit or the Yogscast to boot up blockland and join a server, in all probability the impression made would be very poor. In the more likely scenario that they just booted up a single player game, they would get the vanilla blockland experience. What the person giving their impressions of the game would NOT KNOW, where they to do this is that a lot of blockland's problems and shortcomings are fixed in add-ons and the reason they aren't patched into the game is because add-ons are taken for granted in the community. Blockland is an OK game without add-ons, but I honestly think that it looks quite poor in comparison to a blockland with some brick packs, the smooth brick textures and a good colorset. I really am not sure that this is a barrier that can be circumvented and thus having someone external promote the game is pretty much out.
